I can't remember what we were talking about but I did take a look at The Olive. It's a lovely story! I miss Bussana Vecchia and the whole Arma area.

If I remember well, hm .... it was about schools in SanRemo and Mosss becoming a teacher ... yellow pages to contact schools ... ect. Anyway it doesn't seem to be easy to get a job in a gouvermentschool. And private (as much as I know) is only the "British School".

Oh yes that's right. What do government schools require if someone wants to teach there? I finally got my italian passport after waiting 3 years so I'm now recognised as a EU National. Also, my mother tongue is English.

I would love to spend a year or two there but I think there are cultural differences that I'm not aware of that would make it difficult for us to live there.

Most likely they still will require Your diplomas being converted to italian ones. My english friend (married to an italian) gave up after eight (!) years. (and worked in the "British School" and gave private lessons). Now they left Italy ....
